Need to freshen up those bare walls at home for the up and coming summer? Why not splash some serious colour on them with an abstract piece from United Artworks!
Since launching their online gallery in 2012 these guys have worked extensively with designers and property owners seeking contemporary wall art solutions that are design driven but easy on the budget too.
You can see why in today’s financial environment they have created a niche market that demands quality and value with out burning a hole in your back pocket. They have a vast range of art from a variety of Australian and international artists that are typically focused on seasonal interior trends. You will find a collection of contemporary, abstract and minimalist pieces in pastel tones or more bold dramatic brights so there is something that will appeal to everyones taste. United Artworks are currently on the hunt for some new talent so if your a budding artist yourself, now might be your chance to showcase your creative side.
A unique side to the online gallery is that they give you the buyer, the control to customize your purchase. The size and boarder choice are all your own, you can even submit a personal concept and one of their talented artists can bring it to life for you. I absolutely LOVE this idea.
Jump online UNITED ARTWORKS and have a look for yourself. I cant say selecting will be easy (I found it terribly hard)
A word of advice, Play with proportion – don’t be afraid to choose a large canvas (for big impact) and don’t be afraid to work with colour! As you can see, the featured piece Accente 2 certainly grabs your attention, Its bold and makes a huge statement. We have played around with it against raw materials today which really bought it to life. We were spoilt for choice though. My hubby recently worked on a renovation of an old power station that has been transformed into a one of a kind residence. Its the perfect balance between heritage an ultra modern construction. The owners have really thought every aspect of this home through and we were super grateful to be able to use this space to shot our artwork.
My personal faves are “Accente 2” ( as pictured) “Japanese garden”, I love the pastel tones in this piece and “Straits” reminds me of the relaxing by the sea. Seriously though each of the paintings are individual and incredibly unique, there are endless options.
Keep an eye out as United Artworks have an exciting collaboration for a series of prints with a television personality duo coming soon, exciting!!!
